SHORESTEP

One mechanism, every tide

The ShoreStep is a bulkhead-mounted scissor step system built for one job: making it easy to get on your boat. It folds in and out, and the linkage swings through a full 180 degrees — up or down as the tide moves — so the steps meet you where the water is, from a low-water morning to a high-tide afternoon.

Using it is a fold, not a project: the foot-activated fold-out swings the scissor linkage out from the bulkhead in seconds, and a soft-close mechanism damps every inch of travel. It stops at any height along the full 180-degree sweep, then folds back in flat when you're done. Scissor geometry keeps every step horizontal through the whole motion — no ramps, no leaned-out climbing angles.

Like everything Alumarine builds, it is one product finished completely: aircraft-grade aluminum, non-slip decking, corrosion-ready finish, hardware chosen to outlast the dock it is bolted to.
